Para Community Efforts (PCE) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing inclusion, leadership, and well being through cycling, movement, and community based education.
We support adaptive and non adaptive athletes, veterans, and individuals in transition by creating spaces for learning, mentorship, and shared experience. Our work centers on endurance sport and physical activity as tools for personal growth, confidence, and connection, rather than performance alone.
PCE programs emphasize:
• Education and skill building in cycling and wellness
• Mentorship and leadership development
• Community engagement and disability awareness
• Thoughtful, small scale fellowship and participation experiences
Rather than operating as a traditional training center or residential program, PCE focuses on mission driven participation. Activities are intentionally limited in size, adaptable in structure, and grounded in respect for individuals, neighborhoods, and the communities we serve.
By prioritizing integrity, accessibility, and intentional growth, Para Community Efforts works to build sustainable pathways for people to show up fully, support one another, and move forward together.
Para Community Efforts Fellowship Program
The Para Community Efforts Fellowship Program is a mission driven initiative based in Colorado Springs, Colorado, created to support adaptive and non-adaptive athletes, veterans, and individuals or small teams during moments of transition, preparation, or personal growth.
The fellowship offers access to a focused environment at altitude, well suited for those seeking space to train, reset, and prepare both physically and mentally. Participation may involve individuals, small groups, or visiting teams, depending on alignment and availability.
The program operates from a dedicated facility where participants may stay for short or extended periods in order to access these resources and take part in the broader community and educational aspects of the fellowship. Time at the facility is oriented around participation, engagement, and shared responsibility rather than accommodation alone.
Rooted in community support, the fellowship is designed to reduce barriers and expand access, creating an environment where people can show up with intention, invest in themselves, and move forward with clarity and purpose.
Rather than functioning as a formal academy or commercial program, the fellowship emphasizes learning, mentorship, shared responsibility, and connection. It values progress over prescription and participation over performance, with an emphasis on respect, accountability, and mutual care.
The program remains intentionally small, flexible, and adaptive. Fellows engage at a pace that reflects their own goals and circumstances, supported by a culture grounded in inclusion, dignity, and trust.
At its core, the PCE Fellowship Program exists to create opportunity through access to altitude, time, and community, offering a supportive setting for those preparing for what comes next.
